Field Review - Addition / Alteration - Exterior and interior alterations and change of use from Single Detached House to Single Detached House with Secondary suite at this existing 2 storey, building on this site with vehicular access from lane, providing one parking space in the attached carport. Exterior alterations are limited to: 1) Removal of unauthorized (approx. 14'0 by 15'8") awning over deck at rear. 2) Removal a portion of the existing unauthorized extended deck and retaining a deck size of approx. 7'3" by 14'0" in size at the rear. 3) Replacement of exterior stairs at the rear. 4) Removal of garden shed at the rear of the property line. Note: Installation of Gate/Fence at the rear is to comply with Section 10.10 of the Zoning and Development By-law. Letter of commitment submitted by: Bill Louwerse, PEng, Structural Schedule B. Note to applicant: A Sprinkler permit may be required, as determined by the District Building Inspector. Energy checklist is currently no longer required with your Building Permit (BP) application. Some supporting documents are still required at BP stage, specifically Envelope and HVAC, if applicable. Service Water Heating and Lighting supporting documents, if applicable, must be submitted with your related Trades permits (e.g. electrical and plumbing). All energy upgrades will be checked during inspections stage. It is the applicant’s responsibility to identify and note all required upgrades including energy upgrades on their BP drawings at BP stage.
