- Field Review - Addition / Alteration - To alter the exterior of this Municipally Designated, Heritage "B" building per conditions noted below: 1. Exterior alterations to repair structural concrete pilings, replacement and installation of newly fabricated steel saddles, replacement of wooden beams under walkway along northeast corner of building, and replacement of fascia and decking boards. The alterations described under item no. 1 above, authorized by the Development Permit Number DB-2022-03952, including conditions and plans forming part thereof, are approved under the Heritage By-law and this Development Permit also constitutes a Heritage Alteration Permit. Furthermore, Heritage staff have the following Condition of Approval: Existing guard rails to be re-installed once beam replacement has been completed. OK for Field Review per W. Wong - August 10, 2022 Notes: - Energy Upgrade: Exempt - Exterior Alterations Only. - Schedule B, Structural, Everett Nast, P.Eng, 604-696-7449. Energy checklist is currently no longer required with your Building Permit application. Some supporting documents are still required at BP stage, specifically Envelope and HVAC, if applicable. Service Water Heating and Lighting supporting documents, if applicable, must be submitted with your related trades permits (e.g. electrical and plumbing). All energy upgrades will be checked during inspections stage. It is the applicant's responsibility to identify and note all required upgrades including energy upgrades on their BP drawings at BP stage. NO SOIL DISTURBANCE OR ALTERATION OF GRADES IS TO TAKE PLACE UNDER THIS PERMIT. Work under this permit does not authorize excavation, including the disturbance of soils. Should work necessitate excavation or the disturbance of soils, stop work immediately contact the City of Vancouver, and consult an Archaeologist or the Archaeological Branch of British Columbia for the necessary approvals.
