Field Review - Addition / Alteration - 1068 Kingsway Interior alterations only and a change of use from the existing Health Care Office use (Group D) to a new Retail Food Store (meat processing/selling store) (Group E) to provide tenant improvements in this existing one storey commercial building. New Tenant: Market Alley Meat Limited. Scope of works: Demolish existing interior walls and add new equipment (Walk-in cooler and freezer), and sinks. New plumbing pipes with grease trap. OK for Field Review as per Howie Chow, May 3, 2023. Note: - DBI to determine on site if sprinkler permit is required. A separate sprinkler permit is required for all related work. - DBI to determine the accessibility required on site (Ex. entrance and between the cooler and freezer) - Schedule B - Plumbing, Alex Z. Q. Li, P. Eng., 7783231368 (Lia Engineering Ltd.) Storefront glazing is to remain clear and unobstructed. No translucent or opaque film, artwork, shelving, display case, curtains or similar elements are to be installed on or directly outside or inside of the approved glazing. Separate permit is required for all signage. Shelving units shall not be more than 6'H. A structural engineer is required if the shelving units are more than 6'H. Energy checklist is currently no longer required with your Building Permit application. Some supporting documents are still required at BP stage, specifically Envelope and HVAC, if applicable. Service Water Heating and Lighting supporting documents, if applicable, must be submitted with your related trades permits (e.g. electrical and plumbing).
