- Certified Professional Program - New Building - To develop a 9-storey building of encapsulated mass timber construction, containing 81 residential rental units. The structure is designed as combination of steel columns, concrete core, and encapsulated mass timber (CLT) slabs. Childcare proposed as shell space is provided at the ground floor. All over one level of underground parking garage. Note: Interior Assessable routes in this project are designed to requirements of Section 4.3 and 5.1 of CSA B651. Note: This is a PASSIVE HOUSE; VBBL 2019. 20-Oct-2022 - Stage 1 (excavation and shoring) issued. 27-Feb-2023 - Stage 2 (full permit) issued. Revisions 26-Feb-2024 - Revision #1 issued. Changes to exterior wall assemblies; Summary of changes letter on file. To address some non-conformances to App. D-6.1.1., a Letter of EJ was accepted on 1 Nov 2023; see docs. 25-Jun-2024 -Revision#2 issued. Project description updated to reflect change accepted under the DP-2021-00463: To add the preschool age in addition to school aged care.
