Certified Professional Program - New Building - To construct a new 1-storey Childcare Centre (Group A2) with 69 spaces of 4 groups – Infants (12 spaces), Toddlers (12 spaces), full-time Preschool (25 spaces) and part-time Preschool (20 spaces), public washrooms (Group F2) for users of the adjacent park, and a waste facility. This is a CP Process Permit and the applicant is Andrew Harmsworth, P. Eng., CP. Contrary to the Building Code Data Sheet, the geotechnical report, by Tetra Tech (File No. 704-ENG.VGEO03868-01, March 4, 2022), specifies that this project can be designed to SITE CLASS E; however, if the design parameters change then a site specific evaluation is required. Refer to Section 6.1 of the noted report. Building to be sprinklered to NFPA 13. This building is voluntarily LEED Gold and Passive House. Occupant Load = Max 84 persons (Max 50 adults at any given time due to washroom capacity) Class 3 Cooking Operation: A sign shall be posted near the range that reads “This is a Class 3 Cooking Operation, with a grease capacity alike to a single-family residence.
