High Density Housing / Commercial - Addition / Alteration - Exterior and interior alterations to the entire of this existing two-storey mixed-use (Restaurant/Residential) building. Scope includes: First storey - - Change the use/major occupancy from retail (Group E) to restaurant class 1 (Group A2). - Relocate the entrance to the ground floor restaurant suite. - Interior fit-out to the restaurant, including new seating, kitchen, walk-in cooler/freezer and washrooms. - Relocate the stairs and create a separate entry staircase with 1-hr fire-resistance rating to the second floor residential unit. - Exterior alterations to change the storefront glazing to an overhead door and to replace the existing siding with aluminum siding. Second storey - - Interior alterations to the residential unit to have 4 bedrooms, and a new 2-hr shaft for the ground floor commercial kitchen grease duct. - Install roof top unit and maintenance platform. Building Review Notes: - Major Renovation & Change of Major Occupancy for Small Suite not exceeding 5-year limit, upgrade levels are F2, S2, N3, A3, E4. - Maximum occupant load can not exceed 60 persons for the restaurant. Mechanical Review Notes: 1. Class 1 cooking operations (Grease-Laden Vapours). 2.
