Description

High Density Housing / Commercial - Addition / Alteration - Change of Major Occupancy Classification and Major Renovation Interior alterations to provide improvements to the end of trip facilities on Parkade level P2 and to convert 6 parking spaces to end of trip facilities on Parkade level P3 at this commercial building on this site. Included in the scope of renovation work is: 1- To re-fasten main T’s at perimeter angles of T-bar Ceiling in Loading Dock Corridor with pop rivets to ensure perimeter angle is sufficiently fastened to walls for ceiling loads and ensure the existing main T’s are in good condition and replace those that are damaged. 2. Install two (2) additional safety wires to suspended Lights in Loading dock Corridor to restrain the component from swinging below 6’-8” (2m) above the finished floor elevation, or connect lights to grid with by mechanical clip and screws. 3. GPR scan parkade vestibule walls in North, South, and East Stairs to confirm and locate rebars and add seismic clips to masonry walls where required. 4. Confirm load path for glazing support of the parkade vestibule storefront glazing, once rebar scanning is completed, and ensure storefront glazing is adequately braced.
