Storefront glazing is to remain clear and unobstructed. No translucent or opaque film, artwork, shelving, display case, curtains or similar elements are to be installed on or directly outside or inside of the approved glazing. Separate permit is required for all signage. Shelving units shall not be more than 6'H. A structural engineer is required if the shelving units are more than 6'H. Energy checklist is currently no longer required with your Building Permit application. Some supporting documents are still required at BP stage, specifically Envelope and HVAC, if applicable. Service Water Heating and Lighting supporting documents, if applicable, must be submitted with your related trade's permits (e.g. electrical and plumbing)
