Interior alterations on the main and second floor, an addition of approximately 2532 sq. ft. to the 2nd floor for ancillary office and a change of use and a change of Major Occupancy of a portion (approximately 873.5sf) of the 2nd floor from ancillary office to a separate caretaker's unit in this existing two storey, Metal Products Manufacturing/Workshop with ancillary office building. Scope of work to include new roof top units. Tenant: Cambie Roofing & Drainage (1367 E Kent Ave North) Caretaker's unit (1365 E Kent Ave North) This permit is to legalize the WWOP caretaker unit on the second floor and remove unauthorized work without permit. Strata Titling is not proposed under this permit, should there be strata titling at a later date : HPO, Zoning and Building by-law review will be required. No new un-protected opening is proposed. Caretaker covenant to be registered on land title prior to final occupancy. REVISION #1 (June 14/19). Revise the exit route at the lower floor level from the lower landing of the interior stair which serves the East part of the upper floor level. Integrity of the exit`s fire separation will be maintained, including rated closures w/self-closing devices where doors open onto the exit. Revision #2 - (October 8/20) To reduce the scope of work by retaining some of the existing layout on the first and second floors. The kitchen and bathroom at the rear of the second floor is to be removed and services capped.
