- Field Review - Addition / Alteration - Interior alterations only and a change of use from the existing Vehicle Dealer to a new Retail Store on the ground floor with ancillary office on the second floor at 1612 W. 3rd Avenue at this existing commercial and industrial building. Scope of work: - Install an interior wall between the retail & storage on main fl, new interior door, upgrade new accessible washroom, and converting the boiler room to a storage room on the upper level. Revision #1 - Dec 21, 2021 Reduce scope of work: 1) Cancel voluntary HVAC upgrade for both 1612 and 1614 W. 3rd 2) Retain boiler room and existing kitchenette on the second floor of 1612 W. 3rd OK for field review as per Scott Easby, April 26, 2021. Energy Upgrade: E4 - HVAC - Upgrade Hvac to incorporate Economizers (per 6.5.1 of Ashrae 90.1-2016) Energy checklist is currently no longer required with your Building Permit (BP) application. Some supporting documents are still required at BP stage, specifically Envelope and HVAC, if applicable. Service Water Heating and Lighting supporting documents, if applicable, must be submitted with your related trades permits (e.g. electrical and plumbing). All energy upgrades will be checked during inspections stage. It is the applicant’s responsibility to identify and note all required upgrades including energy upgrades on their BP drawings at BP stage.
