- I am the Facilites Manager for ATS Corporation and we are planning the Installation of a light duty travelling overhead crane on Production floor of our leased property. This crane is manually moved North to South on it's Bridge and East to West on it's runway. The maximum capacity of the crane is 2000 lbs. After an email conversation with David Durnford, he advised it was his opinion this needed a permit. It is a self supporting assembly with no requirement for footings or support to the building structure.
