- City inspector want to expose the existing water main line from City water main shutoff to the water meter inside my basement to inspect the work by previous owner. As i am currently have an open alternation permit for my basement work, the plumbing for this section has to be up to code and, according to city inspection, it seems the previous owner did not open a permit to perform the work for the water main. If the City inspector observe any non-compliance to the building code and plumbing code, there will be rework according to inspector direction at the time of expose. At this time there is no secured conclusion on what the proposed work will be and all proposed work in the revised site plan are contingent upon future inspection after exposed.
