- High Density Housing / Commercial - Outdoor Uses (No Buildings Proposed) - To provide a Notification /Invitation of Independent remediation and a completion of Independent remediation per the requirements of the Ministry of Environment for this site. The environmental consultant is Ben Lin P.Eng. from Keystone Environmental Ltd. at 604-430-0671. Localized remediation of soils to a depth of 2 m at an area measuring approximately 100 sq. m. (10 m x 10 m) near the center of this existing larger vacant site shall meet the contaminated site regulation remediation standards to commercial land use for the development lands (onsite), and to Residential land use for City property(Off-site). followed by immediate back filling to match existing grade elevation. Environmental Protection condition: Effluent to be treated prior to discharge to the sanitary sewer. Final Remediation /closure report and the Ministry of Environment's "Instruments of Approval" shall be submitted to environmental Planning - Contaminated Sites Team by December 14, 2017.
