- Certified Professional Program - New Building - To construct a 7-storey (Z/D 6-storey) Community Care Facility - Class B noncombustible building consists of 1st storey - independent living units, 2nd and 3rd storeys - memory care units, 3rd and 4th storeys - assisted living units, 5th and 6th storeys - independent living units, 7th storey - amenity space and exterior occupied roof deck, All over on level of underground parking with vehicle access from lane. Shared amenity spaces will be located on Levels P1 through 4th storey. Occupants in the independent living and assisted living units are free to move around in their respective floor areas and to leave the area/exit the building with no restrictions. Memory care occupants will be in an impeded egress zone and will require the release, by security personnel, of doors to the exit stairs and security doors before they are able to leave the area. This permit has been reviewed under the 2019 Vancouver Building By-law (#12511) with amendments effective on September 7, 2023. Building to be sprinklered to NFPA 13 requirements. The building is designed with High Building measures. Radio Antenna System to be installed in this building. The building will be equipped with 2-stage Fire Alarm System. STAGED CONSTRUCTION Stage 1 - Excavation and Shoring - issued April 22, 2024 Stage 2 - Foundation to Grade - issued July 18, 2024 Stage 3 - Full permit less the spaces outlined in the letters by RPR responsible for A/M/E/ disciplines and mechanical review - issued Dec 06, 2024 Stage 4 - Full Permit to include excluded scope from Stage 3 -issued 24-Apr-2025 Some additional changes to A/M/E disciplines as outlined in Change letters by professionals.
