- Field Review - Addition / Alteration - 1042 Granville St Interior alterations to combine Retail units 1042 and 1044 Granville St retaining 1042 Granville St to provide improvements for a new Retail store tenant on the ground floor of this Heritage 'C' commercial and SRA building on this site. Scope of work includes the removal of a demising wall, new interior walls, electrical, plumbing, shelving, millwork, and finishes. OK for Field Review per W.Wong Note: This building is sprinklered. District Building Inspector to determine if a separate sprinkler permit is required for all related work. The services of a structural engineer may be required, based upon site inspection by the District Building Inspector. No translucent or opaque film, artwork, posters, shelving, display cases or similar elements are to be installed on or directly outside or inside of the approved glazing frontages and windows so that the interior of the premises is visible at all times from the sidewalk. Energy checklist is currently no longer required with your Building Permit application. Some supporting documents are still required at BP stage, specifically Envelope and HVAC, if applicable. Service Water Heating and Lighting supporting documents, if applicable, must be submitted with your related trade’s permits (e.g. electrical and plumbing).
