Description

High Density Housing / Commercial - Addition / Alteration - BP for DP-2022-00546 & DPMA DP-2024-01052 Interior and exterior alterations and a new two-storey plus a mezzanine addition of approximately 10,365 sq. ft. in floor area to expand this existing 2-storey school building including at grade parking having vehicular entrance to the lane. Scope of work includes installation of an interconnecting door to the existing building and an interior accessible path on the second storey to the new Multi Purpose Hall as a part of Part 11 upgrades and four new rooftop units on the new roof. A new exterior exit under the second storey is proposed. Sch A, Arch B, Stru B, Mech B, Plbg B, Geotech B, Civil B, & Sch D are submitted. The addition to be sprinklered to NFPA 13. Total occupant load the building = max 700 persons ***REVIEWED UNDER VBBL 2019 WITH AMENDMENTS EFFECTIVE ON JUL 01, 2024*** Building Review Branch Notes: - No commercial cooking is permitted in the premises. - A separate permit is required for a large special event at the multipurpose hall by another entity and take place outside of the school hours. The occupant load of a future special event at the multipurpose hall must be max 550 persons. (Refer to the operational letter.)
