- Certified Professional Program - New Building - This permit has been issued for all site work and the proposed Maintenance Building of the Marpole Transit Centre Complex, a new multi-building bus operations and maintenance depot, consisting 3 main buildings and 3 ancillary buildings. Building 1 - Maintenance Building (MB): To construct a 2-storey building for bus maintenance with a mezzanine connected to the elevated pedestrian bridge leading to the West Operations Building. The bridge will function as a horizontal exit. The building will include a lube room with flammable liquids, tire storage, and a spray booth, each separated from the remainder of the building by a 2 h fire separation. The first and second storeys are interconnected per 3.2.8.2.(6). Note: Buildings 1, 2, and 3 are connected by an elevated pedestrian bridge.
