- Field Review - Addition / Alteration - Exterior alterations to repair envelope on the Municipally Designated Heritage building on this site. Scope of work to include replacing some windows and doors. Letters of Assurance: Schedule B Architectural: Andrew Robertson P.Eng (604.320.1999) Schedule A & D: Andrew Robertson P.Eng (604.320.1999) Heritage Notes: "1) \tRehabilitation of the building by way of installing a new waterproofing system and associated repair work between the heritage building and the newer addition, the walkway, and the replacement of damaged windows and doors at Level 1 along the south elevation. The alterations described under Item No. 1 above, authorized by the combined Development and Building Permit Number DB-2025-02496, including conditions and plans forming part thereof, are approved under the Heritage By-law and this combined Development and Building Permit also constitutes a Heritage Alteration Permit.” Furthermore, Heritage staff have the following Conditions of Approval: 1. All work is to be consistent with the approved Conservation Plan dated July 2025 by Luxton Heritage Consultants which forms a part of the combined development and building permit. Notes: - The building at 2525 Quebec Street is protected heritage property under Heritage By-law No. 4837. - Alteration to the heritage building requires a Heritage Alteration Permit issued with the approval of the Director of Planning. - Any proposed tenant improvements/repairs will require a separate building permit. - DBI to determine if structural engineer is required. - This permit is for alterations as shown in plans only.
