Certified Professional Program - New Building - To construct a new 3-storey Care Facility Building (Group B, Div. 3) providing support for children and youth with health complexity and a new one storey stand-alone daycare building on this site. Note: The daycare is processed under a separate Building Permit (BP-2024-04985). The Care facility is provided with a 2-Stage FA system and radio antenna system. Mechanical Review Notes: Care Facility has Two Class 1 and one Class 4 cooking operations on Level 0 (basement Main and Teaching Kitchen), and One Class 1 cooking operation on Level 2 (2nd storey Servery) - Class 1 Cooking Operation (Grease-Laden Vapours): Commercial kitchen exhaust system to NFPA 96 (Type 1 hood). - Class 4 Cooking Operation (KNLZ Ovens): Proposed oven shall be listed under UL Product Category KNLZ. Daycare has Two Class 3 cooking operations. - Class 3 Cooking Operation (Domestic Hood with Electrical Range) - Domestic hood with a grease filter is required. Stage 1 (E & S) issued 26-Feb-2025. Stage 2 - issued 02-Jun-2025 Care Facility - Foundation and Concrete Structure Daycare - Foundation and Concrete Structure Stage 3 - issued 28-Nov-2025 Care Facility - Full permit Daycare - Full permit Revision#1 - issued 9-Feb-2026 Daycare building only: Change to energy standard reference on Architectural, Electrical and Mechanical drawings from ASHRAE.90.1 to PH. The BP drawing set (A/M/E) issued with Stage 3 contain wrong reference to applicable energy standard. The Daycare building was designed to PH standard, but the A/M/E drawings included a wrong reference to ASHRAE 90.1 NOTE: PH was not a requirement under a Planning policy. No drawings were issued with this BP Revision.
