Description

High Density Housing / Commercial - Addition / Alteration - Interior and exterior alterations to this existing 2-storey Church (Group A2) on the site. Scope of Work: - Replacing entry doors, flooring and interior finishes; - Upgrading sanctuary floor structurally to support new fixed chairs and to have 45 min fire-resistance rating from below. - Reconfiguring stage and adding stair lift for accessible path to the stage; - Reconfiguring and adding washrooms; - Updating acoustics and finishes in basement flex space - Rearranging spaces and equipment; - Installing A/C compressor on the flat roof; - Adding PMT. Notes: - Proposed occupant load is 600 persons by design. A permanent sign indicating a maximum occupant load of 600 persons shall be posted in a conspicuous location. - Maximum occupant load cannot exceed 700 persons due to washroom capacity. - Sprinkler system and elevator replacement is not within the scope. *** Reviewed under the VBBL 2019 *** Revision #1 - Sep xx, 2025 - J.
