- Clients would like to add EV to a loaded 100A OHS while they wait to have a BCH designer to site to see about options on a 200A upgrade. We are proposing to use a DCC-12 load miser to accommodate that EV connection in the interim. Mounted at the main service it has CT's that monitor the overall service draw and when it reaches above 80% will automatically disconnect the EV and when demand drops again for 30 minutes it will automatically re-energise that EV charger. We will be running a 6/3 teck cable from the panel to the garage where the EV charger goes.
