- Description
- A 2", in-slab conduit, was hit by a subtrade who was doing a renovation on L1, by drilling in insert into the ceiling of P1, creating a dead short to ground that blew the B-Phase fuse. This conduit runs from the main electrical room 208V CDP located in P1, and runs up to L3 where it powers a 200A-3ph-4wire panel that powers the offices on L3. We are going to intercept the conduit where it breaches the Parkade slab on L1, install a pull box and access panel in the wall, cut the conductors and remove the damaged section from P1-L1 (3/0 copper RW-90), pull new conductors into the conduit and splice them to the existing conductors in the newly installed pull box, using insulated splice kits (burndy). This is afterhours work to be done overnight.
