- Installing provisions for a outdoor heat pump unit. I'll be running 10/3 loomex from a 30 amp breaker in the main panel and enter it into a weatherproof junction box on the exterior of the residence. I will transition into 10/3 teck cable and terminate that into a weatherproof disconnect switch. A whip for the heat pump technician will be installed as well.
