- Description
- installed a box for a light fixture in her bathroom. I started by removing the light fixture and drilling a 4in hole for the new box centred over the sink. I then pulled the old wire into the new box location and secured the box. I then mounted the light and texted the circuit. Next I added a plug centred on the wall at the base of the bed. The plug had to be added for a cabinet going in. I fished wire between the two locations and added the new box. I spliced the wires and terminated the wires on the plug before covering and testing the circuit. The last part of the job was troubleshooting a fan that did not have power. I decided the best course of action was to pull new wiring as it was few off of knob and tube. This involved drilling a hole down a stub space for the wire to travel and
