- We found a receptacle in the backyard that is a dedicated circuit so we repurposed that circuit for the dishwasher. I removed the cover and receptacle, and added cover coverplate with weather proof gasket, but after pervious work had left openings around the box so I used duct seal and cover around the edges of the cover plate to make a nice seal. Entered cable with weather proof connector and spliced connections. Ran and strapped tech cable along the bottom outside of the house til the point where it enters the house, ducts sealed around the entry point. Once inside I entered the teck cable into a junction box and entered a BX cable whip coming out of that box for connection to dish washer. Bonded, spliced and mounted the box on the back wall behind dishwasher. Took the BX whip and enter
