- We arrived kn site and met with Bruce, he gave us a rundown of what he was hoping for and we got to work. We opened a 9x9 hole above the existing thermostat box currently on the outside of the bedroom, we fished a wire down from the ceiling into this box. We then opened another 8x8 hole in the ceiling outside the room inline with the wall space that we would be installing the new thermostat, we fished the 14/3 wire through the ceiling then drilled a hole down into the wall space, we opened a single gang device hole in the wall and fished the wire down to it, we installed a 2004 box and cut in the 14/3 wire then installed the mysa smart thermostat . We spliced on the wiring to make the thermostat work and energized the circuit testing the tstat as we cleaned our mess, we put the drywall we
