- Upon arrival we discovered that in unit 305 the low voltage lighting transformer had burnt out, there was clear burning damage on the wires connected and the transformer had completely stopped functioning. We attempted to find a replacement to no avail as all suppliers informed me the same, that this type of transformer is unheard of due to its age and will be extremely difficult to replace. (Transformer is a 347 boot to 24vokt 40 va transformer). We came up with a temporary solution for this unit by hardwiring all of the switch lags to the lights within the large junction box, and running a new 14/3 ac90 cable down to a high voltage surface mounted box and a new 347 volt rated switch.
