- Installation of bathroom fan in apartment bathroom. Requires permit and a few hours. We started by measuring out and cutting open the drywall to fit the new whisper tone Panasonic fan. We then removed a section of the old venting duct to fit our new insulated section. We taped on and sealed the insulated section to the existing and disassembled the new fan, we installed the front load section and wired it up to the old fan wire. We then sealed and secured the venting to the new fan front. We installed the body, then the motor assembly and connected. We tested the fan and it works great. We cleaned up our mess and headed out.
