- he had already started a run of 8/3 lumex that he had purchased himself and so we removed the cost of yhe wore from our original quote. We opened the panel and removed the disconnected circuits and breakers from the panel to make room. We did a load calculation including the 4000 watt hot tub and came to 74% of total use of the 100 amp panel as many appliances are gas powered. We installed the new 2 pole 50 amp square D breaker and cut the 8/3 into the panel, then terminated. At the other end we installed a deep 4x4 junction box with a 3/4" 4040 and a dry teck connector, we tied in the 8/3 and a length of 8/3 teck cable then spliced using large merrets snd closed the box off with a 4x4 blank. We then drilled a 1 inch hole from the putside in and then from the inside out, fed the teck outsi
