- we disconnected the circuit at the panel ,the heater was sitting so close to the fridge that the door would hit it if opened all the way, so we dosconnected it and remo ed it from the wall. We opened the drywall at the ground level and cut across the wall roughly 3 ft. We then drilled through the studs and fished a 12/2 red lumex through to the existing location, here we installed an 1110 on its side with a blank cover to splice the heat circuit. We then reinstalled the drywall as best we could and reinstalled the baseboard heater so that the fridge door can now be opened and clear of the heater by 6 inches or so
