- We started jn the entry way with the hanging light, we disconnected and removed the exising fixture and capped the wires, we then installed the new hanging fixture and adjusted the length of the chain links to suit there needs, this light works great now. Next we moved into the office, here we removed the chandalier style fixture and disconnected the wires, this box was buried deep into the ceiling so we used a plastic octagon extension ring and long 8/32s, we installed the bracket and then after securing a height we installed the fixture to the desired point and it looks great. Next we removed an old 3 way switch for the kitchen and replaced it with a leviton dial type dimmer supplied by Jason and Lindsay , the bulbs were not dimmable in this fixture but they will replace them as soon as
