- Cut in, fished Installed a new receptacle for the gas stove, an AFCI outlet fed down from the hood fan. Removed a receptacle that was right above the stove put a blank on this location and used it as a junction box to feed a new plug and switch box. Cut out new two gang box and fished wire from junction box, installed new box, switch and receptacle. The 2 gang switch controls new under cabinet lights on the right side of stove. Fished a wire over put in a surface mounted receptacle box to new under cabinet lights. Installed new batteries in smoke alarms and put smoke alarms back on ceiling
