- two hundred amp service upgrade includes a new metre Mast and panel, as well as a new system ground. The system ground will be dug into the ground on the exterior of the home in the garden. The new panel will replace the existing and everything will be in a similar location. To install the proper anchor for the new service mast, we would be required to cut some drywall on the main floor to put backing in We are going to use the existing conduit, which is 1 in. We will pull new 80 amp conductors in this conduit and install a new sub panel in the shop.
