- Field Review - Addition / Alteration - Exterior alterations to provide new windows and convert the existing attached carport to a 2-car garage and interior alterations to validate finished basement and provide alterations at this existing one-family dwelling on this site. Scope of work includes removal of unapproved deck cover at the rear to restore the existing sundeck. Energuide was not able to be provided prior to building permit submission as the building envelope was compromised at the time of the Energy Evaluation. Energy evaluation is to be completed at earliest opportunity and report must be presented to the inspector upon final inspection. Preliminary assessment and recommendations submitted by Total Home Solutions, dated July 18, 2017 Scope of work to include energy and building upgrades in accordance with Article 11.2.1.4 of the 2014 Vancouver Building By-law and as required by the District Building Inspector. This includes: air sealing as recommended in the Energuide Report, upgrade attic insulation from existing R20 (blown-in cellulse) to R40 (not to exceed R43) OK for field review per N.Bahr, Aug 10, 2017 Notes: 1. Energuide and HOT 2000 report to be provided prior to final inspection. 2. Schedule B (Structural) may be required by District Building Inspector to be determined on site. 3.
