Proposed work involved re-waterproofing of an existing 2.9m x 2.62m high pedestrian tunnel linking the Scarborough Centenary Hospital and the Shoniker Clinic. The existing tunnel is located under a paved road and parking lot. To facilitate the waterproofing, the tunnel will be excavated (approximately 0.5m overburden) and its surfaces prepped and cracks repaired. Scope also include replacing a leaking expansion joint and applying crack injection to the interior tunnel surfaces.
