High Density Housing / Commercial - Addition / Alteration - Exterior alterations for building envelope repair to the existing multiple dwelling building (BUILDING A) on this site. Repairs proposed on all four sides of this building for wall rehabilitation including new rainscreen acrylic stucco, metal siding, or brick wall system, replacement of existing doors, aluminum windows, glass block and skylight, new balcony & deck membranes, new guardrails, and new roof membrane and metal roofing. Scope of work includes installation of five new glass canopies on north and west sides and two steel frame canopies at units 102 & 103 on east side of the building and replacement of WWOP windows with new metal screens at units 109, 110, 111, 112, 113, 114, & 115 . Landscape reviewed and approved by Takashi Tomono on Mar 20, 2018. Sch A, Arch B, Stru B, & Sch D-1 are submitted. ******THIS PERMIT HAS BEEN ISSUED UNDER THE REQUIREMENTS OF VBBL 2014******** Building Review Branch Notes: - All new windows, doors and skylights shall conform to AAMA/WDMA/CSA101/I.S.2/A440, NAFS - New skylights and canopies shall have wired safety or laminated safety glass. Canopies shall have rain water tied into the existing building's drainage system. - Glass in guards shall be wired, tempered or laminated safety glass.
