    In this building permit application we are looking to have our three south-facing windows in thebasement enlarged downward. Window openings are existing openings and since this is an old house(build in 1922) we are looking to keep the existing width of the window unchanged (which would allowus to keep the existing original lintel on top of the window) and only enlarging window downward. Thiswould minimize the impact on the structure of the house.
