High Density Housing / Commercial - Addition / Alteration - Elevator Upgrade and FAS work, Interior alterations to provide elevator upgrades to two (2) elevators at the existing 7-storey commercial/office on this site for CSA-B44-16 upgrade. Designated Recall Level: Ground Floor Alternate Recall Level: Parking Level 2 (2nd level) Scope of work includes: - Replacement of existing heat detector at top of elevator shaft and machine room to addressable smoke detector. - New addressable smoke detector to be installed in elevator lobby at ground floor. - Upgrading existing circuits to addressable as required for elevator recall purposes. - New relays (Q=5) to be installed in elevator machine room. - Existing conventional single stage FACP to be upgraded to addressable Building Review Branch Notes: 1. Related Electrical Permit EP-2021-00584 2. Fire Safety Plan and or Operations Manual to be updated to show alterations. Plans to be submitted to Fire Prevention office for approval. Evacuation plans for occupants to be updated. 3. Schedule B - Architectural & Electrical, S.J.F Jacob, P.Eng. * Reviewed as per VBBL 2019 and issued during 2020/2021 Pandemic Crisis.
