Separate permits will be required for the removal of the accessible ramp when the City’s Tenancy at 305 W 8th Ave ends. Removal of the accessible ramp will include the reinstatement of the loading area, including the loading bay doors. If the applicant wishes to convert this ramp into a permanent feature in the future, a new application will be required, and applicant may need to enter into an Easement and Indemnity Agreement with the City for any encroaching elements. Note to Applicant: in the work description that states that the services of a structural engineer may be required, based upon site inspection by the District Building Inspector. Energy checklist is currently no longer required with your Building Permit (BP) application. Some supporting documents are still required at BP stage, specifically Envelope and HVAC, if applicable.
